The Uzbek Ministry of Economy and Finance has met with the leadership of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency’s (TIKA) Uzbekistan office to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation, including organizing training programs to enhance the skills of local enterprise personnel across six priority sectors according to Turkish standards.
Concrete proposals were also presented for expanding large-scale partnerships in other promising areas, leveraging TIKA grants, and outlining subsequent steps for implementation, The Caspian Post informs per Kazakh media.
The parties highlighted significant opportunities in energy efficiency, urban development, rational water use, and the growth of the service sector, among other areas.
In 2025, professional development programs and training courses for ministry staff and affiliated organizations will be launched both in Tashkent and Ankara with TIKA’s support.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to continue fostering a mutually beneficial partnership and systematically implement the planned projects and initiatives.
