Uzbekneftegaz, China’s Jereh Advance Equipment Deal

Uzbekneftegaz and China’s Jereh Group have reviewed the supply of wellhead compressor stations and cementing units used in drilling operations.

The discussions took place in Beijing during a meeting between Uzbekneftegaz Chairman Abdugani Sanginov and senior executives of Jereh Group, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

The sides assessed the current state of practical cooperation in the oil and gas sector, identified operational challenges, and outlined strategic steps to strengthen future collaboration.

According to Uzbekneftegaz, a contract has been signed for the delivery of 22 wellhead compressor stations to its oil and gas fields. Fourteen of these units have already been commissioned and are operating at full industrial capacity, while installation work on the remaining stations is currently underway.

Special attention during the talks was given to resolving urgent technical and operational issues related to the supplied equipment. Both sides agreed to maintain close coordination to ensure the prompt resolution of outstanding matters and to elevate bilateral cooperation to a new level.

Jereh Group is one of China’s leading manufacturers of high-tech oil and gas equipment. As part of the ongoing partnership, 36 small compressor units have already been built and commissioned in cooperation with the Chinese company, underscoring the expanding scale of Uzbek-Chinese collaboration in the energy sector.
