Representatives from Uzbekneftegaz JSC and MUFG Bank Ltd. of Japan held a regular meeting to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation, financing new projects, and expanding practical partnerships.
At the meeting, information was presented on reforms, transformation processes, and the achieved results within Uzbekneftegaz, particularly regarding economic stability, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.
Views were exchanged regarding the company’s prospective projects and financial strategy.
Negotiations covered financial mechanisms, loan conditions, and investment opportunities offered by MUFG Bank, as well as discussions on the organization of syndicated loans for financing large-scale projects.
A proposal was put forward to create a syndicated club loan in collaboration with international banks to support environmental reforms and initiatives to reduce negative environmental impact.
According to the company’s press service, the guests were also briefed on plans for issuing and financing Eurobonds. The bank representatives expressed their readiness to provide financial services in this process.
Following the meeting, both sides agreed on further cooperation and outlined specific practical steps for its development.
