Armenia Silent on Reports of JD Vance Visit

The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has neither confirmed nor denied reports from a former lawmaker that U.S. Vice President JD Vance is planning to visit Armenia in early 2026, The Caspian Post reports, citing Armenpress.

Former Member of Parliament Arman Babajanyan, president of the For the Republic Party, earlier said in a statement that he has information that the U.S. Vice President will visit Armenia in February 2026. He did not reveal the source of the information.

“Information on planned high-level visits to Armenia is provided in a timely and appropriate manner,” said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ani Badalya.
