Babken Tunyan, a member of the “Civil Contract” faction in Armenia’s National Assembly, will visit Turkmenistan from August 3 to 7 to take part in the Parliamentary Forum of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries.
The visit will be made following a decision signed by the president of the Armenian National Assembly, The Caspian Post reports, citing Turkmen media.
Tunyan will join a high-level Armenian delegation led by the president of the Republic of Armenia. The delegation will participate in the Parliamentary Forum of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, which will take place in the city of Turkmenbashi, located along the Caspian coast.
The forum is expected to bring together lawmakers, diplomats, and experts to discuss development challenges and solutions for landlocked nations, with a focus on strengthening international cooperation and boosting regional connectivity.
