Earthquake Shakes Armenia

A minor earthquake struck northern Armenia on the morning of June 22, with tremors felt across parts of the Tavush region.

The magnitude 2.1 earthquake was recorded at 9:03 a.m. (GMT+4), approximately 20 kilometers northwest of the city of Ijevan. The quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers, The Caspian Post reports via Armenpress.

Seismic intensity at the epicenter was measured at 2-3 points. Residents in the towns of Ijevan and Noyemberyan, as well as the villages of Koghb, Achajur, and Voskepar, reported feeling light tremors of similar intensity.

No casualties or damage have been reported.
