Azerbaijan-Dominican Republic Relations Get Boost as New Ambassador Assumes Post

Ruslan Rzayev, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, has officially presented his credentials to President Luis Abinader, marking the start of his diplomatic mission in the country.

During the meeting, Ambassador Rzayev conveyed greetings from Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. President Abinader thanked the ambassador and asked that his regards be passed on to President Aliyev, The Caspian Post informs, citing local media.

The leaders discussed the prospects for strengthening bilateral relations across various sectors, stressed the importance of ongoing collaboration within international organizations, and addressed other matters of mutual interest, signaling a commitment to deepening ties between Azerbaijan and the Dominican Republic.
