Azerbaijan, Türkiye Launch 4th Energy Forum in Izmir to Boost Bilateral Cooperation

The 4th Azerbaijan-Türkiye Energy Forum has officially commenced in Izmir, bringing together senior officials and industry representatives from both nations to discuss expanding cooperation in the energy sector.

Co-chaired by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov and Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, the forum concluded its opening session with the signing of a protocol aimed at enhancing bilateral energy collaboration, The Caspian Post reports via local media.

The opening ceremony also included participation from Mukhtar Babayev, Azerbaijani President's Special Representative on Climate Issues. Throughout the forum, delegations from Azerbaijan and Türkiye are set to engage in bilateral meetings to explore new initiatives and strengthen strategic ties in the energy industry.
