The Embassy of Israel in Azerbaijan has announced that Ronen Krausz, the newly appointed Ambassador of Israel to Azerbaijan, arrived in Baku.
The embassy shared video footage capturing the ambassador’s arrival, where he warmly greeted the public in the Azerbaijani language, signaling a positive start to his diplomatic tenure, The Caspian Post reports, citing the message of the Israeli embassy in Azerbaijan.

Krausz, who previously served as Director of the Eurasia Department at Israel’s Foreign Ministry, was officially appointed as Israel’s ambassador to Azerbaijan on January 12, 2025. He succeeds George Deek in the post.
