The Zhogorku Kenesh (Parliament) Of Kyrgyzstan Has Held Hearings On Strengthening Political, Trade, Economic, Cultural, And Humanitarian Ties With Azerbaijan And Georgia, According to The Press Service Of The Kyrgyz Parliament.
Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Azerbaijan and Georgia, Maksat Mamytkanov, delivered an update, The Caspian Post reports, citing local media.
During the discussion, committee members focused on a number of issues, including strengthening political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian ties with Azerbaijan and Georgia.
During the meeting, they noted that Kyrgyzstan's trade turnover with Azerbaijan reached $10 million in 2025 and emphasized the need to intensify the work of the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan Development Fund.
Meeting participants also discussed the development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation, emphasizing its importance for strengthening interstate ties and public diplomacy.
