Trump Calls Central Asian Leaders to Washington for High-Stakes C5+1 Summit

US President Donald Trump has invited leaders from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan to the C5+1 Central Asia-US summit in Washington on November 6.

This will be the second summit under the C5+1 format, following the first in 2023 in New York during the UN General Assembly under President Joe Biden, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

The meeting is expected to focus on regional security, trade, economic cooperation, and strengthening US-Central Asia ties.

Ahead of the summit, US officials, including Special Envoy Sergio Gore and Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau, are in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan from October 26-30 to discuss bilateral and regional issues.
