“Azerkhalcha” Carpets to Feature at Upcoming Exhibition in Vietnam

To strengthen cultural ties between Vietnam and Azerbaijan, the Vietnamese Days event was held in Baku at the end of July.

During the event, Azerbaijani carpets produced by “Azerkhalcha” OJSC were showcased to the Vietnamese delegation. The exhibition featured carpets crafted from locally sourced wool and silk, blending traditional artistry with modern designs, The Caspian Post reports citing AZERTAC.

Emin Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of “Azerkhalcha” OJSC, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Vietnam Shovgi Mehdizade, and a Vietnamese delegation led by Trinh Thi Thu Ha participated in the event. The Vietnamese guests received detailed information about the historical evolution and cultural significance of Azerbaijani carpet weaving.

In recognition of their engagement, participants in the carpet-weaving presentation were awarded certificates by Emin Mammadov.

Plans for an upcoming Azerbaijani carpet exhibition in Vietnam were also discussed, highlighting ongoing efforts to deepen cultural exchange between the two nations.
