Shares of Russian energy giant Gazprom fell by 3% during trading on the Moscow Exchange on June 18, dropping to 106.2 rubles (about $1.45) and moving closer to their lowest levels in more than a decade.
The data was provided by the Moscow Exchange trading platform, The Caspian Post reports.
The last time Gazprom shares traded at a lower level was in December 2024, when the stock declined to 105.2 rubles (approximately $1.43). That marked the company’s weakest market performance since 2008.
The latest decline places Gazprom shares near those multi-year lows, highlighting continued pressure on the stock of Russia’s largest hydrocarbon producer.
