Georgia’s Ambassador to the US Tamar Taliashvili, has held a meeting with US Senator Steve Daines, during which the two discussed prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation.
“It was my pleasure to meet with the U.S. Senator, Steve Daines, a true patriot. We discussed the opening of a new chapter in U.S.-Georgian relations, strengthening of the existing ties, as well as the importance of peace and prosperity in our region,” The Caspian Post reports via Taliashvili’s message on X.

Earlier, on September 1, Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili sent an open letter to US President Donald Trump, expressing hope for the renewal of strategic partnership between the two countries.
