Iran Signals Possible Fresh Talks with IAEA in Coming Days

Spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry Esmail Baghaei has stated that Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) may engage in a new round of negotiations in the coming days.

Baghaei explained that the recent visit to Iran by the IAEA deputy director general was intended to establish a framework for cooperation between Iran and the agency in the aftermath of attacks on Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities by Israel and the US, The Caspian Post informs via Iranian media.

“The visit focused on developing appropriate measures for such situations. It is possible that another round of negotiations between Iran and the IAEA will occur in the near future,” Baghaei said.
