Around 80 percent of the areas damaged during the war in Iran’s capital have now been restored, according to the deputy governor of Tehran Seyyed Kamaleddin Mirjafarian.
He stated that more than 60,000 residential and commercial properties across Tehran province were affected by what he described as American-Zionist attacks during the third imposed war, The Caspian Post reports, citing Al Jazeera.
According to estimates, Iran has sustained nearly $270 billion in direct and indirect losses since the beginning of the US-Israel war on February 28.
Key infrastructure, including bridges, ports, railway lines, universities, research facilities, power stations, and water desalination plants, was directly targeted. In addition, numerous hospitals, schools, and civilian homes were either damaged or completely destroyed.
