Jackie Chan to Film New Movie in Kazakhstan

Global action star Jackie Chan and Kazakh director Robert Kun have officially selected Kazakhstan’s southwest Mangystau region as the main filming location for the fourth installment of the “Armour of God” franchise.

According to the regional administration, the decision was made due to Mangystau’s dramatic landscapes, vast panoramic views, and unique natural settings that perfectly fit the film’s concept, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Jackie Chan previously visited Almaty in September to scout potential locations for the upcoming blockbuster.
