Renowned Kazakh singer Dimash Qudaibergen, accompanied by contestants from the international music competition Voice Beyond Horizon, has arrived in Aktau from the Turkistan region.
The group’s upcoming performances will be filmed against the stunning natural backdrops of the Caspian Sea coastline and the majestic Bozzhyra Gorge, two of Kazakhstan’s most celebrated landmarks, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
Produced by Dimash in collaboration with China’s Hunan Broadcasting System, Voice Beyond Horizon features talented artists from Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Italy, Malaysia, and Serbia. A jury of international experts will assess the contestants’ performances throughout the competition.
The contest covers six key regions in Kazakhstan, including Almaty, Turkistan, Mangystau, and Akmola, as well as the major cities of Almaty and Astana, where the grand finale is slated to take place.
The Ministry of Tourism and Sports emphasized that the project aims to showcase Kazakhstan’s rich tourism potential to a global audience, potentially reaching millions of viewers worldwide.
This initiative enjoys broad support from various government bodies, including the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Ministry of Culture and Information, the national tourism agency Kazakh Tourism, and regional administrations.
In parallel, the ministry has unveiled a comprehensive strategic plan for 2025-2029 focused on the development of the Mangystau tourist zone. Approved by government resolution, the plan outlines nine priority areas to improve visitor experiences, attract investments, and promote sustainable growth in the region.
As announced earlier, Kazakhstan is hosting the filming of this new China-Kazakhstan collaborative music project throughout September, with Dimash Qudaibergen serving as executive producer.
