Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has participated in an informal meeting of Central Asian heads of state held prior to the official opening of the 3rd United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries.
The summit provided a platform for regional leaders to discuss key priorities aimed at deepening cooperation and fostering integration among Central Asian nations, The Caspian Post reports per Kazakh media.
The dialogue emphasized the importance of joint efforts to address common challenges and promote sustainable development across the region.
Earlier in the day, President Tokayev arrived at the Awaza Congress Center to attend the official welcoming ceremony for heads of delegations attending the conference.
The 3rd UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries is scheduled to take place in Awaza, Turkmenistan, from August 5 to 8, focusing on advancing the interests and development prospects of landlocked nations worldwide.
