A talented Almaty schoolgirl, Dana Kadyrbek, has signed a memorandum with Kazakhstan’s Water Resources and Irrigation Ministry to further develop her innovative device that collects water from the atmosphere using modern nanomaterials-all without electricity.
The collaboration will involve performance analysis, pilot testing, data exchange, and exploring ways to expand the technology’s use, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
Kazakh Minister Nurzhan Nurzhigitov praised Dana, awarding her a letter of gratitude and a special gift, and directed the Ministry’s Science and Innovation Department to fully support the project.
Dana’s invention has already gained international acclaim, winning top prizes at competitions in South Korea, Indonesia, and Kazakhstan, and reaching the Global Cleantech Innovation Programme semifinals, selected from over 500 entries nationwide.
