Kazakhstan Appoints New Deputy Head of Presidential Office

Assel Zhanassova has been appointed Deputy Head of the President’s Executive Office in Kazakhstan.

Born in Almaty in 1987, she holds degrees from the University of Cambridge and Moscow State University in computer science and executive management, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Zhanassova has held key roles in both the public and private sectors, including CEO of KazPost, Vice Minister of Trade and Integration, AIFC Chief Digital Officer, and leadership positions in IT and cybersecurity in London. Her appointment reflects Kazakhstan’s focus on digital transformation and innovative governance.
