Kazakhstan, Belarus Discuss Bilateral Ties and Eurasian Security

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has had a phone talk with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, focusing on the current state and future prospects of Kazakhstan-Belarus relations.

The two leaders emphasized the high level of political dialogue and growing cooperation in trade, economy, and humanitarian spheres. They also exchanged views on key international and regional issues, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

President Tokayev underscored the significance of the International Conference on Eurasian Security, currently taking place in Minsk, noting its role in strengthening regional dialogue.

Both presidents reaffirmed their commitment to maintain close coordination in preparation for upcoming joint events.

Earlier, President Tokayev also met with US Special Envoy for South and Central Asia Sergio Gor and Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau at the Akorda Residence, highlighting Kazakhstan’s active diplomatic agenda.
