Kazakh Agriculture Minister Aidarbek Saparov has said that Kazakhstan is exporting grain to 45 countries, driven by record harvests and growing agricultural output.
In the first 11 months of 2025, Kazakhstan’s agricultural gross product rose 6.1 per cent to 9.2 trillion tenge ($17.898 billion), fueled by a 7.5 per cent increase in crop production and a 3.5 per cent rise in livestock output, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
Saparov noted that in the 2024/25 marketing year, the country exported a record 13.4 million tons of grain, along with over 15 tons of products containing feed meal. Of the new harvest, 3.9 million tons have already been exported, a 13.6 per cent increase compared to the same period last year.
The minister highlighted that Kazakhstan’s grain export potential reaches 13 million tons, spanning 45 countries. Plans to further boost processing include five wheat and corn projects set to launch by 2028, enhancing the country’s position as a leading global grain exporter.
