The Kazakh artistic swimming team has earned a coveted spot in the finals of the Artistic Swimming World Championships, part of the ongoing World Aquatics Masters Championships being held in Singapore.
Demonstrating precision, strength, and artistry in their free program routine, the Kazakh squad posted a commendable score of 261.9755 points, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kazakh media.
Their performance secured them 8th place in the standings, granting them entry into the championship final.
Representing Kazakhstan in the team event are Nargiza Bolatova, Yasmin Tuyakova, Dayna Dzhamanchalova, Xenia Makarova, Aigerim Kurmangaliyeva, Anna Pavlevtsova, and Valeria Stolbunova.
The final round of the competition is scheduled for July 20, where the Kazakh athletes will compete against the world’s best in pursuit of a podium finish.
In a separate event, Karina Magrupova advanced to the finals in the individual category, adding to Kazakhstan’s strong showing at the championships.
