Kazakhstan is expanding its international air network with the launch of a new direct route between Atyrau and Batumi, making travel to Georgia’s popular Black Sea coast more accessible for passengers.
Low-cost carrier FlyArystan began operating the new service on July 14. Flights will run once a week, every Tuesday, using Airbus A320 aircraft, The Caspian Post reports via Kazinform.
The Kazakh Ministry of Transport said the new route is expected to strengthen tourism cooperation between Kazakhstan and Georgia while providing travelers with greater connectivity during the busy summer season.
The launch comes as Kazakhstan continues to expand international flight options. It follows the announcement that Air Astana will resume its regular Almaty-Dubai and Astana-Dubai services on July 15, further enhancing the country's global air links.
