Kazakhstan Makes Waves with Three Artistic Swimming Medals at Asian Championships

Kazakhstan has continued its strong showing at the 2025 Asian Aquatics Championships, securing three medals in artistic swimming.

The Kazakh artistic swimming team delivered a standout performance by claiming gold in the Team Technical Final. In the Mixed Duo Free event, Eduard Kim and Karina Magrupova earned a silver medal, while Arina Pushkina and Yasmin Tuyakova added to the country’s medal tally with a bronze in the Duo Technical category, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

The championships, which are taking place in Ahmedabad, India, from October 4 to 8, have already proven fruitful for Kazakhstan. On the opening day, Kazakh athletes claimed five medals, including three gold.

Among the highlights was a dominant swim from Astana’s Adilbek Mussin, who won the men’s 50m butterfly final with a time of 23.74 seconds, securing another gold for Team Kazakhstan.
