Kazakhstan is set to captivate commuters with the launch of the “Harry Potter Train,” a unique cultural and entertainment event designed for passengers traveling on an electric train.

This initiative was announced by “Passenger Transportation” company, a subsidiary of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (Kazakhstan Railways), The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

The “Harry Potter Train” offers a theatrical experience where actors portray iconic characters from the beloved Harry Potter series, bringing the magical world to life onboard. The program features interactive elements that engage passengers of all ages, creating an immersive adventure for both children and adults. As a special keepsake, every young passenger will receive a magic wand, adding a personal touch to the enchanting journey.

The show will take place aboard a specially arranged four-carriage electric train traveling the route between Astana-1 and Tastak stations, before returning to Astana-1. The entire experience lasts approximately two hours, providing ample time for passengers to enjoy the spectacle.

The inaugural rides are scheduled for October 5 and October 12, with departures at 11:25 (GMT+5) from Astana-1 station.
