Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s recent visit to the United States and participation in the C5+1 Leaders’ Summit has marked a major step in Kazakhstan-US relations, delivering concrete economic agreements and deepening political dialogue.
The summit, bringing together leaders from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and the US, was described by both sides as a historic meeting, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.
President Tokayev expressed gratitude to Donald Trump, calling the event the beginning of a truly new era in the partnership between Central Asia and the United States.
The Kazakh leader praised Trump’s global leadership and vision, noting that it inspired Kazakhstan’s strategy to build a Fair and Strong Kazakhstan based on law and order. In response, Trump commended Tokayev’s leadership, describing Kazakhstan as “a true partner in peace and prosperity,” and hinted at a possible future visit to the country.
The summit reinforced Kazakhstan’s role as a key player in Central Asia, while paving the way for expanded cooperation on trade, investment, and regional security.
