Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan Collaborate on Telecom Innovation and Fraud Prevention

During “ICT Week Uzbekistan - 2025” in Tashkent, the State Unitary Enterprise “Republican Center for Telecommunications Network Management of Uzbekistan” and Kazakhstan’s ATS Mediafon KZ have held an official meeting to discuss strengthening telecommunications network management and combating banking fraud through enhanced collaboration and advanced cybersecurity solutions.

Both parties emphasized the urgency of coordinated efforts to protect users from increasing digital threats and fraudulent activities amid the rapid evolution of digital technologies, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

The meeting concluded with the signing of a memorandum of cooperation, formalizing a partnership to exchange expertise, jointly execute projects, and work collectively to combat banking fraud, reinforcing the commitment of both countries to safeguarding their digital ecosystems.
