Kyrgyz and Kazakh Foreign Ministers Discuss in Phone Call

On December 17, 2024, Kyrgyz Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev held a telephone conversation with Murat Nurtleu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, The Caspian Post reports citing Kabar.

The sides discussed the state and prospects for the development of Kyrgyz-Kazakh relations of strategic partnership and alliance, exchanged views on key issues of the regional and international agenda.

The ministers also expressed mutual interest in maintaining regular political and economic contacts at the level of heads of state, parliaments, and governments of the two countries. The sides reviewed the progress in implementing the agreements reached by the heads of state and government of the two countries, and also discussed issues of organizing bilateral visits and high-level meetings planned for 2025.
