The national beauty pageant Miss Qazaqstan 2025 has concluded in Almaty, Kazakhstan, blending traditional pageant elements with modern creative touches.
Contestants appeared on stage in stunning national costumes by a Kyrgyz designer, with blue dresses symbolizing freedom, strength, and confidence, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.
Alina Yekaterincheva, 22, from Shymkent, was crowned Miss Qazaqstan 2025. A lifelong dancer and experienced model, she holds a law degree and plans to study fashion design to launch her own brand. Alina will represent Kazakhstan at Miss Universe 2026.
Shadiyara Baykenova, a 4th-year student at the Zhurgenov Academy of Arts, earned the Miss World Qazaqstan 2025 title and will compete at Miss World 2026. Other winners included Alina Nurakhmetova (Miss People’s Choice), Aida Zhankylysh (Miss Adalin Clinic), Laura Aktaeva (Miss Dress Angel), Dilnaz Sarsenbay (First Vice-Miss & Miss Marie Claire), Diana Sanat (Miss Sun Group), Kamila Dauletova (Second Vice-Miss), and Anel Yemel (Miss Grand Qazaqstan, set for Miss Grand International 2026).
The pageant coincided with Kazakhstan hosting the inaugural Silk Way Star, an Asian vocal competition in Astana featuring performers from 12 countries, showcasing the nation’s growing influence in regional cultural events.
