Kazakhstan and Cambodia have taken a new step toward strengthening diplomatic ties, signing an agreement that removes visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and official/service passports.
The agreement was signed during a ceremony at Cambodia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Acting Foreign Minister Eat Sophea and Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Cambodia, Kanat Tumysh, signed the document on behalf of their respective governments, The Caspian Post reports via Kazinform.
The new arrangement will allow holders of diplomatic and official/service passports from both countries to travel without visas, helping to facilitate official visits and deepen government-to-government cooperation.
During the ceremony, representatives from both sides welcomed the steady development of bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation across a range of sectors.
