Severe Heat to Hit Eight Regions of Kazakhstan on June 16

Specialists from the RSE "Kazhydromet" provided a weather forecast for the republic for the upcoming Monday, June 16, 2025, The Caspian Post reports citing the Zakon.kz.

According to weather forecasters, a large part of the republic will be affected by a cyclone and the atmospheric frontal sections associated with it - there will be rain with thunderstorms and hail.

"On Monday, heavy rain is expected in the east of the country, fog is expected in the north and in the center at night and in the morning. Only in the south of Kazakhstan is precipitation-free weather expected. Strong winds are expected throughout the republic," the Kazhydromet RSE said in a statement.

In the Kyzylorda and Turkestan regions, intense heat up to +44° is expected during the day.

In the Zhambyl region , as well as in the Ulytau region , in the west of Karaganda , in the south and northeast of Mangistau region, strong heat is expected +35+39°.

In the Aktobe region, strong heat up to +35° is forecast for the day. In the south and southeast of the region, there will be very strong heat up to +41°.

In the Kostanay region, strong heat of +35+36° is expected during the day, in the south of the region, very strong heat of +40°.
