Special Attention – Xi Jinping Invited Tokayev to a Personal Reception

The Chairman of the PRC organized a personal reception for only three of the 22 leaders who arrived for the SCO summit, The Caspian Post informs via Zakon.Kz.

Among the guests of honor are Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, as well as Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"The dinner between Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Xi Jinping lasted two hours and was held in a warm, trusting atmosphere. The address "my dear friend" was often heard at the table and special attention was felt towards the Kazakh delegation," reports a correspondent of Zakon.kz.

The two leaders' negotiations took place in Kazakh and Chinese. Despite his excellent command of Chinese, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev spoke his native language.
