Flawless Performance Secures Gold for Kyrgyz Weightlifter in Fort Worth

Kyrgyz weightlifter Bekdoolot Rasulbekov has captured the gold medal at the VIRUS Weightlifting Series 2 international tournament in Fort Worth, Texas.

Competing for Marin Heavy Athletics in the 110 kg category, which featured 37 athletes, Rasulbekov delivered a flawless performance, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

He successfully completed all six of his attempts:

Snatch: 160 kg, 167 kg, 172 kg

Clean and Jerk: 200 kg, 210 kg, 220 kg

His combined total earned him the top podium finish, securing another prestigious victory for Kyrgyzstan.

Rasulbekov is no stranger to international success. He previously won bronze in the 102 kg division at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya, Türkiye, and represented Kyrgyzstan at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in the 96 kg category.
