From Almaty to Bishkek: B5+1 Forum Expands Economic Ties

On February 4-5, 2026, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, will host the 2nd B5+1 Forum.

The high-level event, organized jointly with the Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers, is set to become a key platform for dialogue between business leaders and government representatives from Central Asia and the United States. The forum aims to strengthen regional economic cooperation and deepen collaboration between the public and private sectors, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Priority areas on the agenda include agriculture, banking and finance, strategic mineral resources, e-commerce and information technologies, transport and logistics, and tourism-sectors seen as critical drivers of sustainable growth and cross-border connectivity.

The inaugural B5+1 Forum was held in Almaty on March 14-15, 2024, bringing together around 250 stakeholders and business representatives from ten countries.

The B5+1 Forum serves as the business pillar of the C5+1 diplomatic format, which brings together Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and the United States, underscoring the growing role of business diplomacy in regional engagement.
