During the High-Level Week of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov has held a series of important bilateral meetings aimed at strengthening cooperation and expanding diplomatic ties.

President Japarov met with Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker, where they discussed enhancing Kyrgyzstan-Austria collaboration across multiple sectors, including the economy, investment, environmental protection, and tourism development, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.

In talks with Namibian President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, the leaders explored the current state and future prospects of Kyrgyzstan-Namibia relations, which are steadily progressing.

The president also engaged with Gabonese President Brice Clotaire Nguema, focusing on opportunities to deepen cooperation in trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian fields, as well as collaboration within international organizations. Both sides emphasized that bilateral relations are in the formative stage and marked the occasion with the signing of a joint communiqué establishing diplomatic ties.

During his meeting with Guinea-Bissau’s President Umaro Sissoco Embaló, President Japarov acknowledged that relations between Kyrgyzstan and Guinea-Bissau are newly established, with formal diplomatic relations having been initiated in February 2025.

Additionally, President Japarov held discussions with Paolo Zampolli, the US Special Envoy for Global Partnerships, exchanging views on advancing cooperation through both bilateral and multilateral channels.
