Kyrgyz athlete Ainuska Kalil kyzy has taken first place in the women’s category at the recent half marathon held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
She completed the 21.097-kilometer race in 1 hour, 17 minutes, and 32 seconds, securing a decisive victory, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.
Earlier this summer, Ainuska showcased her talent on the international stage by finishing eighth at the World University Games in Germany, clocking in at 1 hour, 14 minutes, and 41 seconds.
This win at Almaty also marks a significant comeback for the Kyrgyz runner, who had previously won the same race last year but was later disqualified. Her performance this year reaffirms her status as one of the region’s top long-distance runners.
