Kyrgyz Runner Raises Bar with Record-Breaking Half Marathon

Kyrgyzstan’s long-distance running star, Nursultan Keneshbekov, has once again raised the bar for the nation by setting a new national record in the half marathon.

At the recent Kazan National Half Marathon, Keneshbekov finished third in the 21.1 km race with an outstanding time of 1 hour, 1 minute, and 39 seconds, surpassing his own previous record, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.

This latest feat comes just days after Keneshbekov secured gold at the Almaty Half Marathon on September 28, where he initially broke the national record with a time of 1 hour, 2 minutes, and 44 seconds.
