Chairman of Kyrgyzstan’s Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev has said that the country’s snap parliamentary elections, held on November 30, took place calmly and without interference.
Speaking to the National Broadcasting Corporation, he emphasized that the vote was fully automated, noting that officials followed the president’s order to avoid any involvement in the process, The Caspian Post informs via Kyrgyz media.
Kasymaliev thanked citizens for their participation and said the government is ready to work with the newly elected deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh. He added that key economic decisions still lie ahead, including approval of the 2026 budget and the Cabinet’s 2025 report.
He stressed that upcoming laws will focus on supporting entrepreneurs and improving living standards, saying the government aims to “create decent conditions for every citizen.”
Kyrgyzstan’s early parliamentary elections were held under a majoritarian system, with 90 MPs elected across 30 multi-mandate constituencies.
