Kyrgyzstan Deepens Economic Relations with Central Asia and China

Bakyt Sydykov, Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, participated in the second Meeting of the Ministers of Economy and Trade of the Central Asian countries and the People's Republic of China, held in Astana.

During the plenary session, the minister emphasized the strategic importance of developing a sustainable and mutually beneficial partnership between the countries of the region and China, The Caspian Post reports citing Kyrgyz media.

In his speech, Bakyt Sydykov focused on the need to further strengthen trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as the importance of jointly implementing initiatives within the framework of the Central Asia-China format.

Kyrgyzstan confirmed its readiness to actively participate in the implementation of regional projects aimed at increasing economic connectivity, creating favorable conditions for business and investment, and expanding trade ties.

The MInistry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic considers interaction in the Central Asia-China format as an important platform for developing long-term partnership and strengthening economic stability in the region.
