Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov signed the Law "On ratification of the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of Montenegro on exemption from visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and service passports, signed on September 26, 2024 in New York City."
The law was adopted by the Zhogorku Kenesh on January 30, 2025, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kyrgyz media.
The law was adopted in order for the Kyrgyz Republic to implement domestic procedures for the entry into force of the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of Montenegro on exemption from visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and service passports, signed on September 26, 2024 in New York City (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement).
This Agreement provides that citizens of the state of either Party, holders of valid diplomatic or service passports, are exempt from the requirement to obtain a visa for entry, transit, stay or exit from the territory of the state of the other Party for a period not exceeding 90 (ninety) days within 180 (one hundred eighty) days from the date of their first entry.
