Kyrgyzstan remains one of the top ten buyers of Russian pasta, according to fresh statistics from Russia’s Federal Center for the Development of Agro-Industrial Exports (Agroexport).
In the first nine months of 2025, Russia exported over 100,000 tons of pasta worth $154 million - a 21 per cent increase compared to the same period last year, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
The biggest importers continue to be countries across the CIS region. The top ten include Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Mongolia.
“Pasta and noodles are staple foods throughout the post-Soviet space and beyond. Combined with the maturity of the Russian market, modern production capacity, and regularly updated product lines, this creates strong export opportunities for domestic producers,” said Ilya Ilyushin, head of the Federal Agroexport Center.
