Kyrgyzstan’s Bishkek City Hall and Russia’s Moscow Government have formalized a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening cooperation in the digitalization of urban management.
The agreement sets out plans for exchanging expertise, implementing innovative technological solutions, and launching joint projects to improve the efficiency of city governance and enhance residents’ quality of life, The Caspian Post reports via Kyrgyz media.
The signing took place during the «Cloud Cities: BRICS Cities Forum on the Future», where Jumamudun Jumaliev, Director of the Center for Digital Technologies, represented Bishkek. Forum attendees discussed advanced IT solutions for housing and utilities and shared successful practices in automating public service processes.
As part of the agreement, both cities will engage in regular consultations, seminars, and conferences to facilitate professional exchange and foster collaboration between specialized organizations and business communities.
Officials expressed confidence that the partnership will pave the way for the development of smart urban infrastructure and support sustainable digital progress in both capitals.
