Kyrgyzstan's Foreign and Mutual Trade Down 11.7% in 4 Months

The preliminary data indicates that the volume of foreign and mutual trade for the Kyrgyz Republic in January-April 2025 amounted to $4.592 billion, a decrease of 11.7% compared to January-April 2024, The Caspian Post reports according to the the National Statistical Committee.

During this period, export deliveries decreased by 8.2%, while import receipts fell by 12.3%.

Meanwhile, the volume of mutual trade between the Kyrgyz Republic and Eurasian Economic Union member states in January-April 2025 reached $1.473 billion, showing a 3.8% increase compared to January-April 2024.

Among EAEU member states, the largest share of Kyrgyzstan's mutual trade during this period was with Russia (67.6%) and Kazakhstan (30.2%).
