Kyrgyzstan to Construct Waste-to-Energy Plant in Osh

Construction has started on a state-of-the-art waste-to-energy plant in Osh city, Kyrgyzstan, as announced after a meeting between Osh Mayor Zhanarbek Akaev and Dai Dao, CEO of the Chinese company Junxin Huanbao KG Invest.

The mayor emphasized that construction of the plant must be accelerated and carried out at full capacity, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kabar.

All emerging issues and problems will be promptly resolved by the Mayor's Office. According to data, once operational, the plant will be able to annually recycle up to 310,000 tons of waste and generate electricity. Furthermore, the facility fully complies with environmental standards and will not emit harmful substances into the environment, thereby preserving the region's ecological balance.

The project aims to improve the city's environmental situation, develop infrastructure, and implement modern waste recycling technologies, creating the conditions for a clean and safe future for Osh residents.
