Azerbaijan, Georgia Commend Successful Cooperation in Many Areas

Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili and Azerbaijani Ambassador to Tbilisi have commended the “wide spectrum” of strategic partnership between their nations, highlighting successful cooperation in trade, economy, transport, and energy.

During their meeting, the officials discussed key issues on the bilateral agenda, including Botchorishvili’s upcoming official visit to Azerbaijan and the tenth session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, the Georgian Foreign Ministry said in a statement, The Caspian Post reports.

Both sides emphasized the importance of the “peaceful and stable development of the South Caucasus region” and expressed their commitment to making the strategic cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan even more dynamic, the ministry noted.
