Spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry Guo Jiakun has said that starting september 15, 2025, China will allow Russian citizens holding ordinary passports to enter the country without a visa for up to 30 days.
Speaking at a briefing, Gao said the move aims “to further facilitate mutual travel between Chinese citizens and nationals of other countries” by expanding the list of countries eligible for visa-free entry, The Caspian Post reports via Russian media.
The trial visa-free policy, effective until September 14, 2026, permits Russians to visit China for business, tourism, or to see relatives and friends for stays of up to 30 days.
