Russian Strikes Hit Critical Infrastructure in Ukraine's Chernihiv for Second Day

Russian forces targeted a key infrastructure facility in central Chernihiv, Ukraine on October 29 morning, following an initial strike.

Authorities have urged residents to stay in shelters as emergency services assess the damage. As of 8:30 a.m. (GMT+2), no casualties were reported, The Caspian Post reports via Ukrainian media.

Chernihiv has faced frequent Russian attacks, often aimed at the city’s energy system and other critical infrastructure. Recent strikes, including drone attacks on October 27, caused injuries and widespread power outages.

Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, head of the Chernihiv regional military administration, confirmed the ongoing threats and stressed the need for continued vigilance among residents.
