Şükriye Bayar, the Turkish Consul General in Salzburg, visited the Azerbaijan House in Salzburg.
Farid Azizov, Head of the Azerbaijan House provided insight into the activity of the House, main goals and efforts, The Caspian Post reports, citing AZERTAC.
He hashed out the projects, cultural events, and initiatives implemented to preserve, promote, and pass on to future generations the national and cultural values of Azerbaijanis living in Austria.
Consul General Şükriye Bayar praised efforts the Azerbaijani diaspora in Austria, emphasizing that this activity is commendable. She noted that the Azerbaijan House plays an important role in unifying society, protecting national identity, and strengthening cultural diplomacy.
The Consul General also highlighted the importance of joint and more coordinated activities of Azerbaijani and Turkish diaspora organizations in Austria in the coming period. She underlined the significance of the diasporas of the two brotherly peoples, who share a common history, culture, and faith, operating in unity and solidarity.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the sides discussed future cooperation prospects between the Salzburg Azerbaijan House and the Turkish Consulate General in Salzburg, and exchanged views on further strengthening mutual relations.
It was noted that such meetings make a significant contribution to strengthening ties between the Azerbaijani and Turkish communities living in Austria, promoting shared values more widely, and ensuring the more systematic development of diaspora activities.
